I’ve been seeing this whole30 compliant snack on Instagram called Chia pod. Went to Whole Foods to get some and the banana flavor (which everyone raves about) was sold out, so I grabbed mango and vanilla bean. Both were good in a very subtle kind of way – just need to adjust to the novel texture. And yes I had to capture Benson’s blur-bomb 😛
It struck me today that flavor enhancers like sauces and spices freakin rule; thus, it has become a fun game to find the next obsession. It all started with Frank’s red hot sauce. Then almond butter, preferably by the spoonful. Next up (and still a major favorite) was spicy brown mustard. But now, it’s all about marinara sauce. I like the Alessi brand – it has no junk ingredients and is fairly priced. As Britney Jean would say– gimme gimme more.
Short post, but that’s because it’s vacation time! 🏊🍹👙☀️ Hoping to make it back with some sweet memories and a nice supply of Costa Rican coffee.
