Day 29

Breakfast: egg salad stuffed pepper and mixed berry smoothie. I read somewhere that smoothies are not encouraged during Whole30 because they’re often sugar heavy, which makes sense. For this smoothie I measured out 1 cup of frozen berries then added 1 cup of unsweetened almond milk with a pinch of cinnamon. Nothing really to write home about, but novelty counts for a lot these days *shrugs* Lunch: roasted sweet potato, broccoli and leftover pork. Dinner: taco salad with pico and olives. I needed this. Ground chuck is like a hug for your mouth (especially when you get it for $2.99/lb and it’s ground fresh daily – thanks Fresh Market!). Also, Operation No Snacks commenced at 0800 with mission accomplished. Things were getting dicey around 4pm, so had to move dinner up earlier.

Hit up the treadmill for a good 30 minutes today 👍 And that’s all I have to say about that. Wait. I feel like I’m forgetting something…
